MOST NEEDED
RELOCATION
SERVICE LINES
Real estate executives who
have managed or are managing
the relocation process reported
that they called on diverse real
estate service lines to support
their successful moves more so
than in a standard relocation
project. We asked them to rank
the service lines they required
in order of importance:
1. Space planning
2. Workplace strategy consulting
3. Site selection
4. Transaction advisory/brokerage
5. Incentive consulting
6. Project management.
URBAN RELOCATION
OFFERS REAL ADVANTAGES
IN TODAY’S MARKET
We were able to draw some firm
conclusions from the results of the
survey. First, corporations are on
the move everywhere, and tenant
urbanisation is here to stay. Second,
relocating companies are clear on their
priorities — summed up as location,
location, location to attract and keep
talent, talent, talent! Third, companies
in urban locations find savings through
better efficiency and productivity. And
last but not least, although cost-neutral
relocations are the goal, cost savings
can be an unexpected bonus.
