DTZ In Situ 2014-15 - page 3

It is a pleasure to introduce the 2014 issue
of
In Situ
, showcasing insights and analyses
from DTZ thought leaders across Global
Occupier Services (GOS). I thank all of our
contributors for their valuable perspectives
on innovative solutions and keen observation
of the global corporate real estate business.
In my first year as leader of GOS, it has
been inspiring to hear directly from our
clients that DTZ is providing excellent
services that help them achieve their
business objectives. Corporations are
increasingly outsourcing real estate
functions, and many of our clients have
asked about DTZ’s further capabilities,
locally and around the world. It’s exciting
to know that we are well positioned
to bring more of our vertical market
knowledge and expertise, in numerous
global markets, to help our clients with
their real estate needs.
In Situ
provides current and prospective
clients with a snapshot of our full range of
occupier capabilities and global research.
This issue highlights on the global energy
sector that is powering the corporate real
estate market today, with a companion
piece on energy and sustainability as an
integral part of every business strategy.
We also focus on the value of innovation,
from facilities management to the
‘Internet of Things’. Our professionals
report from the field on global occupancy
costs, rising business optimism in
Europe, new opportunities in India, and
the decentralizing, growing technology
market in China.
I’m proud of the expertise presented in
your global occupier services magazine,
and I hope you enjoy this edition of
In Situ
.
Please continue to send us ideas you’d
like to address in an article or read about
in future editions.
